Heat and Platueas

The heat in Illinois is becoming sweltering. This year we had high 30s in the winter, and this week we've had 90s. I know that some may say Texas hit 100... but that's okay, people's bodies have adjusted there well. I don't have central air where I'm living, and I am seriously worrying about heat stroke and dehydration on a daily basis. This hasn't stopped me but it is severely hindering my training, and that saddens me.

The plus side is I'm still sweating, pouring out any pounds(hopefully) I'm not shredding sitting in the little bit of AC i can cling to.

My team has plans to hit a gym, and I've been trying to squeeze in runs while its cool, and rumor has it I might have access to a gym for solo workouts soon.

Hopefully the weathermen aren't lying and the heat will lower and dissappaite through the week. Looking forward to hitting a gym and getting some work out time in.

We actually haven't adjusted as well as we'd like. The combination of heat and humidity down here in Houston make it a lot worse than it is. Try and stay hydrated as best you can. We're definitely feeling it down here as well. Hopefully it lightens up and you get a chance to get back to business as usual.
